86 GN found but owner sits on it

There is a 86 GN not far from my folks place. It has been there for about 10 years just sitting in this dudes driveway.
I talked to the guy once last summer and he said he was going to fix it up. Well it is still there, and nothing has moved in ten years.
What a waste of a nice car.
I may go back this weekend and talk to him again.
Sooner or later he must give in !!

Sounds like the Superbird/Daytona that I know of.

Yeah I know a hemi superbird that gets used as a storage room. Also as a place to leave tree branches and whatever else garbage can fit on top of it. I don't think I deal with seeing that happen to a GN.

Those people are so frustrating. Either they actually think they are going to restore it (which they NEVER do) or they think they are going to be able to retire on the Brinks truck full of money that someone will pay them for their 4 door 58 Chevy.

I know of the following cars that I have asked about and got that SAME description:

87 GN in Morganton, NC.
91 Syclone in WV.
91 Syclone in/around Mt. Airy, NC.
68ish Nova SS in VA.
3. 66 (396cid) Chevelles in VA (one is a vert).
1. 55-57 Chevy Hard top in VA.
1. 57 Chevy vert in VA.
1. Super Bird in Bluefield, WV (dunno what engine is in it).
1. Early 70s second gen Camaro SS (396cid) in VA.
1. ~70 vette in VA.

and prolly another half dozen or so non GM classic/muscle cars that would make a nice race, resto. or rod material.
