86 GN Original Exhaust

Looking for original exhaust system for 86 GN from the Cat back (I have the cat - I need the Ypipe, muffler, tailpipes, etc...) Must be in mint condition Will pay $$$. Thanks

How much are you asking for the exhaust system pictured. How's the condition? Are they original to your car and genuine GM parts. Thanks

To be honest, I don't know if it's GM or aftermarket. I bought my car in Aug. 2004 with 44,000 miles on it. Car was not moded but not sure if exhaust was replaced. I'll have to dig it out of the attic and look for some numbers.

I have looked in to them. Just wondering if the interior mechanics of the muffler are reproduced for the stock sound. Anyone know or have one of these on their car? Thanks

I've had 3 GNs with original exhaust and the sample sound file on their website sounds pretty close to a stock car. Can anyone else attest to this?

Spoke to Gardeners today. They said they are no longer making the reproduction exhaust system for the GN. They are focusing on older muscle cars. They siad that if they got enough orders they might d a run of exhausts. I added my name to the list.

The system pictured above is a nice replacement for a leaking stock system.
It sound like the stock, very quiet and looks better with the chrome tips
IMO

I saw that Walker makes an exhaust that is supposed to have a stock look and sound. I saw it on their website. Any modifications needed to mount it or are the stock mounts OK? Probably cheaper to buy it new the have it shipped to Florida. Who knows what that would cost?!

I have alot of interested in this exhaust, I'm pretty surprised. Anyways I'm not sure who made this system it was on the car when I bought it. It's pretty quiet. It's in real good shape thats why I saved it when I put on my ATR system. Make offers on it. If they sound fair I'll sell it. If not I'll keep it in the attic lol. It's in 4 piece right now. I didn't pull the pipes that go over the rearend, but the long split and tail pipes are off it already. Don't want to pull it apart any further for the sake of damaging it.
