I have an 86 turbo Type that I am selling for a friend who is in failing health and he wants to sell this car. I have no reasonable idea what this car might be worth. The interior is in good shape, needs tires, the ones on the car are winter tires (18 years old) from the last time he drove it.
the exterior is in great shape except for a small area on the trunk lid that was damaged by an oilry rag that was left on it. Otherwise, the body is great shape. All of the plastic pieces behind the bumpers are falling apart and needs to be replaced. I found replacements at classic industries, but the owner did not want to spend the funds to have that repair made.
He parked the car in 2004 in his garage and asked me in 2022 to see if I could get it running and prepared for sale.
After all the recommended preparations from many on this forum, the car started up immediately and runs great.
The progressive brake system had failed, and the owner did not want to cover the +1K cost to get it fixed so he had me replace it with a vacuum system.
The fuel pump quit a few weeks ago and now has a new one installed.

I would appreciate any information on asking price and recommendations on where I might list this for sale.
