I have an 87 Black Buick Turbo T package car as well. Nothing particularly rare about the car unless it has the package mentioned in the above post. There were numerous combinations available. Black was simply another color available in the paint choices. The lightweight with alum drums and bumper supports is fairly rare but the oddball combinations like mine and probably the one you found may or may not be more rare than others. The GN's, and there were a bunch, were pretty run of the mill. The T package for 87 was not referred to as a T Type as was the case in 1986. The T package was available as a free flow option and could be combined with all engines and any trim package with the exception of the limited (I think?? I used to work for GM so I know pretty much anything was possible back then). So what you have found is a base Regal with the T package as an option.
