‘87 GN.. Are the front seat buns and covers symmetrical?

I have just a little wear on the drivers seat bottom. My thought is to have an upholstery shop swap the bottom cushions and covers from side to side.

Factory interior.

Are they the same?

I would guess they are symmetrical but when my driver seat became uncomfortable I slipped in a thin layer of foam from Joanne Fabrics. Not a hard job. You will need a hog ring pliers and maybe some new hog rings.

They started out the same. But if you have power seats, there will be holes on the inside of the PS seat if you swap them.
