Motors work in all directions. Previous owner welded a piece on the seat assuming it was cracked, so seat sits a little crooked. 100$ obo buyer pays shipping and paypal fees. Figured someone can use for parts or maybe repair.

wonder if it would bolt up to the 86 seat? I would just swap out everything. 86s have a plastic transmission and this 87 looks mostly metal so that is an improvement. mine is crumbling. Did it work under load? with someone sitting in the seat it was attached to?

It should bolt up that way just fine if your swapping out the complete assemblies. Im 225 pounds and it moves in all directions just fine.
The bracket has a crack in it so it makes the seat sit kind of crooked, not sure how to repair that unless your a welder just so you know

they bolt up the same . difference is86and earlier used a single motor and a transmission ,the 87 used three motors
because of the motor setups the switches are different between 86 and 87

Easy fix with a tig welder... I pick up a power seat like that and put it in my T...GLWS

I'll do $90.00 total via PayPal including shipping to 76132. Cant see how to PM yet on the new site, have not been online in a while, maybe that is called a conversation now?
