My GN grill is loose. I think it is supposed to have a couple of springs to seat the grill forward and hold it in place at the bottom. Right now, it just flops around and it only seems attached at the top.

I can probably rig up something, but does anyone know how this is supposed to attach? If so, any PNs I can use to order the correct parts with?

I did check the GNTTYPE.ORG, but I can only find references to the grill PN itself, but not knowing the official description, I could be looking right over it!

Thanks for the help!

Its should be still available at GM or you can go to the junk yard and get some. I also seen something simular at the local hardware store.

Yes, it does use springs on both sides to hold the grill tight. I was missing one spring so I just used a zip tie to hold the one side tight.

I used a carburator/throttle spring from the "Help" section at local auto parts store. I got the one that looked the strongest. Was about 3" of 1/2" coil dia. spring. The wire diameter was larger that most too. This most closely resembled the one that I had left on the grill, although I have no idea if it was the original part.

Thanks for the replies!

I'll just keep my eye out for a regal at the yard (Very Rare... Most are still on the road around here)

Thanks tminer... I'll get some HELP! springs and figure something out. I'm good like that!:D

i have the same situation. I went to the a GM dealer to get them, figuring they'd be cheap but they were an ungodly price ( forget exactly how much, but WAY more than springs should be) so I just searched around for springs that looked like they would work and bent the ends accordingly, and sprayed them black. Works well enough.
