I have an 87 blue on blue, limited astroroof car with 72K miles that I am thinking of selling. I do not need to sell this car but it rarely gets used and sits in my garage.
I have owned the car for approximately 2 & 1/2 years and bought it from Florida where it had always been serviced by KDK performance in Orlando. I spent a while talking to that shop before I bought the car. They assured me that it had been properly taken care of and they were correct.
Anyhow, it has pw, pl, cruise, tilt, remote mirrors, trunk release, posi, power antenna and the desirable astroroof. EVERYTHING works and the AC is ice cold as the unit was replaced by the prior owner. It has a newer Delco battery and it also has an aftermarket radio with a CD changer in the trunk. There is also an alarm on the car.
Last year, I purchased new GNX style rims from Classic. They are mounted on brand new Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position tires. I do have the original rims mounted on newer BF Goodrich Radial TAs and they will come with the car.
Paint looks great and it gets a lot of attention. There is a little bit of peeling inside the doors under the metal "body by fisher" kick plates. It is not perfect but is an awesome car. I have never taken it to the track but it hits 2nd hard.
From what I can tell, the car is pretty much stock but I admit that I am by no means an expert on these cars like a lot of members here. But I am a huge turbo Buick enthusiast and will answer your questions the best I can. I have owned quite a few of these cars and this is definitely the best one for me, but I do encourage an inspection.
I have the title in hand and a copy of the clean carfax.
The car is located in central NJ and the price is $15,000. Like I said earlier, I don't need to sell this car but would like to see it get used more.
Any questions, feel free to email me at l.m.levy@comcast.net
Thanks for looking,
Larry
