87 Regal tranny question

I have a 200r4 I'm looking at and the guy says it's out of an 87 Regal and has the heavier front pump. Would this be the same as a BRF code? I take it the Regal is not a T-type.

I don't know much about these trannys and what I've gleaned came from this forum.

200R4 Tranny Question

Okay, the guy tells me it is KT-F. I didn't exactly see the direct translation, but I think I am close.

ANyway, I am planning on putting this behind my stock (as far as I can tell) Pontiac 400 in my 77 T/A.

What upgrades need to be made to this tranny to make it survive.

Also, when I go to put the tranny in, I'll probably redo the heads and put a cam in it. Nothing crazy, just a little more umph.
