87 T-Type V8

Go over to Rich George's B4Black website. At last count there was at least 33 turbo'd 82 GN/SC's on the registry. I should know too. I rescued one of those 33 from the crusher.

Okay I found my numbers. According to Buick, they made 8,547 Regals with the Y56 "T" package. Subtract the LC2 cars from that figure and you have 1,697 307 V-8 powered 1987 Regal "T"s. And I think somewhere in the Dealer Order Manual it states that you could not order Y56 with the NA 3.8.

Interesting! I've always thought it would be cool to have one of those 82 GNs with a turbo. IF I ever scooped up one that was n/a it would either get a big block or a SFI

On that note, did the '82s have 14" or 15" wheels? Some guy on craigslist keeps posting an ad for a pair of wheels with some ugly old school mud tires that look an awful lot like the wheels I've seen in pics of the '82.

Lemme see if I can find that ad . . .
