my power antenna is not working radio is working. is there some places i can check first before i take it out and how do i take it out of the car.

Most likely it's the antenna itself. You're gonna have to take the inner fender out to get to the antenna or remove the fender. Not fun either way.

Took about 1 1/2 hours at my guys bodyshop. My mast was broke, but it was just as easy to get a gm repro and bolt the new unit in.
