87 turbo swap

ok i know this has been discussed alot i just cant find the right thread but i just seen an 84 GN on ebay and its says it has a brand new 87 turbo and from the pics it looks like a regular 85 stcok turbo i didnt see any crazy mods so my question is this if i were to right now buy an 87 stock turbo is it that ez to get to sit? and ive heard something about reclockin the turbo is that all it takes to get it to fit in the 85 setup ? thanx alot just lookin for some blunt staright out answers on this swap thanx

oh one more thing i noticed that 85 GN still has the wat appears stock up pipe and dp do all these bolt on to a stock 87 turbo?

No, No, NO. 87 Turbo will NOT directly bolt to a hotair setup. I tried with my 85 GN.
