First let me say I am listing this for a close friend who has moved out of state,so if there are any questions I cannot answer I can call him to find out.Here is the lowdown:
'87 Turbo T-2 owner car bought from original owner in 1996
Body has 79xxx miles-Silver with burgandy buckets-PW,PL,Tilt,rr defog.
Michigan car since new.The owner replaced the doors with rust free California doors and had them painted to match
Light bubbling at top of driver side A pillar and trunk lip
GNX style gauges made from now defunct ANS
MM Scanmaster
EGT gauge
Engine:Motor was purchased from Jay Carter in the late 90's
NOS short block
Ruggles camshaft #3371?
Champion heads and lower intake-heads have had additional port work done
Hemco upper with a Kenne Bell 70mm throttle body
#50 MSD injectors
Buick Motorsport valve covers
John Craig TE 45 4 bolt turbo
HKS in car ajustable wastegate
Dequick Front mount intercooler w/ custom made pipes
Kenne Bell stainless headers with a custom made '3 DP
Custom made '4 air intake w/ K&N filter
ART stainless '2 1/2 exhaust w/ Ultra Flow mufflers
ATR dual in tank pumps with new GM fuel tank
Magnacore wires
New GM cam,crank and IAC sensors when motor installed
torque strap
Engine is run by the stock ECM with a MM 110 chip and a stock MAF -has provision for DirectScan
Transmission:
Car currently has the original,un-rebuilt BRF 200 with a Orange Stripe converter and a trans cooler
Rear axle:
Stock original 8 1/2 3.42 with factory GM posi unit
Additional updates/upgrades:
New upper/lower ball joints
New front coils
2 rear air bags
BGC "soft"rear brake kit
re-built alternator with 140 amps
New HD U joints
Car has front frame and rear seat braces
Wheels/tires:Car currently rolls on the factory T wheels with new Goodyear Eagles on front with Hoosier Quick Time Pro's on the rear 9.5x26x15
Car is a solid foundation that just needs a few odds and ends.A fortified 200 trans from one of the vendors with a quality convertor and some tuning would be recommended.I have driven this car a bit and I must say once it hits boost it pulls VERY hard.The car is at my home in Plymouth Michigan and available for viewing/test drive.E-mail me for pics and/or phone number exchange.CAr is priced at $10,500.Thanks
