I am replacing some worn stock rocker arms and studs on my 89 TTA and had a question concerning what looks like oiling grooves on the bottom of the studs. They are curved passages notched into the bottom of the studs and are narrow then widen. As I disassembled them, some had the narrow passage toward the block while others had the wide passages toward the block. Obviously, someone must have had the rockers off and did not pay attention when they reassembled. I want to make sure they are done right, so any expert advice is greatly appreciated.
