9-bolt rear??

I have a friend at work who purchased a TTa about a month ago and has been in the process of getting it back to running condition. He asked me if i could find him an aluminum rear end cover and told me the one he took off was a 9 bolt???? didnt TTA's have the same 8.5 10 nolt as the buicks? i told him to bring it into work tomrrow so i can check it out, but i dont see how thats possible. he said he counted the holes over and over again and only got 9. if the tta's did come with a 9-bolt someone please let me know so i can stop going crazy....and if not, what rear would have a 9-bolt cover?

The TTA have the 9 bolt, you can get a rear end cover from TAPerformance for the australian 9 bolt borg warner.

I saw what looked like a 9 bolt rear end under a new Nissan Titan I was driving behind. I wonder if it is.
