9" LU vs. 9/11" LU converters

Hello all,
What are the advantages and disadvantages between the 9" and 9/11" converters both being the same stall and LU clutch?

Anyone have experience running both?

The 9X11 has a 11X2 lockup disc.

a 9" has a 9" X 1" clutch.

11" and 9" refer to diameter, correct? what does the 1" and 2" refer to? Also what are the pros of a 9/11"?

the 9X11 is 9 inch bowl, 11 inch diameter X 2inch wide clutch disc

the 9" is 9" converter bowl and a 9 inch diameter by 1 inch width lock up clutch disc
