The Quick Corner gas station in Berthoud has 93 octane at the pump. I live in Greeley and usually fill up there. This link has some but not all of the places in Colorado with higher octane gas.

that would be great, if it was accurate and up to date. the place in ft. lupton no longer sells 100, and i can think of quite a few places where you can buy high octane. airports are great, if 100 low lead is good enough for you, cheap too.

the previous owner set it at 10lbs and i haven't bothered to change it. i should be getting a knock gauge soon so i can play with the boose a little but, but even if i don't have any knock i still don't want to put much extra stress on the engine, its fast enough like it is, and if a i go off and drop a rod it won't be fast at all... i'm not sure what timming the chip is, i actually emailed the previous owner yesterday to find out what the timming is

forgot to tell you that i have 150k on the engine, i know its over due for a rebuild, but money is pretty tight...

dont worry about the miles on your motor, just dont knock and change the oil every 3k miles and it will last. in my local buick club, there is a GN w/ 200k that idles better than most with 50k, another GN with 300k that idles great and is pretty fast, and one GN in the club just turned 500k  all on original motor w/ nothing done but valve springs and timing chains.

makes my 160k mile limited seem like a baby:cool:
