93 octane

have to run premium fuel with GS's right?

i have little prior knowledge of the GS to back this up, but i would be very surprised if the answer was no.

You must run 93 octane in this car or it will ping for sure.. And more so if you have any mods...

My owner's manual says 91 octane, minimum.

The Sunocos in my area have 94. I don't know how they can justify charging 10 cents more a gallon than the 93 at the same pump.

BTW...I put 89 in my car during the last fillup. I figured it would be alright since I had a half tank of 93. I lost about 3 mpg doing this, and the burnouts aren't nearly as spectacular.
