He sold his GN and said here ya go, you can have it. The highest octane I can buy locally is 91. What ratio should I blend the two to reach a nice level? 1/3 106 to 2/3 91, or what.

He said his o2 sensor kept crusting over in his GN running it straight. Both cars are stock. Really.

Only mod on the TTA is KN filter and ATR exhaust no cat.

Thanks for the help.

Ty

you might as well give it a way since you still have the stock pump in the tank, therfore you wont be turning up the boost ,therefore not needing the the 106....:D :D get busy modding

oh but wait

Spring is coming and a Walbro, hot wire, chip from turbotweak etc are sure to be on the way. Who knows, maybe even a little old Alky squirt:D

Are you sure it is Unleaded 106 octane?

Unleaded is the main question.

I have run the unleaded 104 GT Plus (straight) and never had a O2 problem with it. Both my cars liked it and seems to had quicker throttle responce. Gas mileage was less but then I was in the throttle a lots more.
1 gal Sunoco to 3 gal 91 =94.25 octane
1 gal S to 2 gal 91=95.33
1 to 1 will = 97.5

After you burn up the "free" good stuff.
You can get better results using zylene/tolene to 91 fuel.
1 gal z/t to 4 gal 91= 95.6
1 gal z/t to 3 gal 91= 96.75

Or like you planning, go with alky.

thanks Gary

i would recommend a Denso 02 sensor... i fouled a few out from the leaded gas and then i switched to a denso...

havent had it go south yet and i have run both xylene and 110 leaded past it and no problems yet!

must be nice to get a bunch of gas for free :(

Black Car

I just went and picked it up. Sunoco GT PLUS is what the label says. On Sunocos website that is 104 unleaded.

I say save the stuff too. No need wasting it if you're still running the stock 16.5 lbs boost. Wait til you up it to 20 lbs +.

I ran my 12.93 on 110 Turbo Blue @ 20 lbs boost, 3" downpipe, no cat and a chip with no drag radials. I had Firestone Firehawks on standard PSI. Those TTA's will scream with just a few tweaks!

TTA 1233

Whos chip were you running at the time?

Thanks in advance

Thrasher 92 (anti-theft) chip. I had considered a Thrasher 100 but didn't want to pump 110 Turbo Blue @ $3.69 a gallon all the time.
