Today I was driving the 86 and it has a brand new AC system, and it cut out randomly and hasn't come back on. When it happened it sounded like a fuse went because there was a small pop but the manuel has no fuse listed for the A/C, but that could have also been the dash creaking like it always does when the a/c come on or turns off. The other weird thing is that no more than 10 secs later my check brake light came on. Are they related or is it s fluke? It soudns like the cut out switch to me but does anything in the A/C affect the brakes? Thanks a lot.
