A/F ratios on scanmaster

so i took the girl aorund the block and i was watching the a/f ratio on the scanmaster. at idle in park, it reads 5. and when i am driving it when i am at part throttle it goes up to 50. when i put my foot into it for one second, i got 98!!!!

wtf? shouldn't the a/f be more stable than that. or is the a/f very unrelaible to look at. 98 parts air to 1 part fuel: the thing wouldn't run.

some help and input would be great.

also are there any manuals as to how to adjust the settings on the scanmaster? i recently purchased the car.

AF = AirFlow

The manuals are posted on the FullThrottleTech site.

There is a lot of experience on this board. Do a little reading, and then post some questions.

airflow, wow that makes me look really stupid. i cannot blame it on the eggnog. just plain stupidity.


so is there a nice number to shoot for when it comes to airflow?
