I need to get a good set of street slicks, I was wondering if any one has a pref to a good set or can give me a good recommendation as to a brand I should use? Thanks

Are you looking for drag radials or just a street legal slick?
The best thing I have used is a Mickey Thompson E/T street. It is DOT approved, but never, ever, ever use them in the rain.
If you are looking for something a little less aggresive, I would recommend the Nitto 555 Drag Extremes.

I have a set of the MT's on my Camaro, I like them but I was wondering if I could do better for the GN. I know what you mean with the rain ;) (got stuck in a shower on my way back from a show) I will look into the Nitto's that sounds closer to what I want.

Thanks

I just put Hoosier QTPs on my car (27 x 11.5). If you do more than occasional street driving you should check out any of the drag radials that are out there. I couldn't get my 275/60 BFG DRs to hook to save my life but lots of other people are putting up nice numbers with them. I don't drive my car much so I can live with the QTPs (DOT approved drag slick), but they're mushy and make the car feel unstable. They've only been on the car for a day so it'll take some time to get used to them. They hook like nothing I've ever had on any car, though. Even better than my M&H Racemaster 'real' slicks (I only have the butt dyno to back this up, tho).
