a little help please

i have a brand new maff translator and a 3 1/2 in ls mass i decided to upgrade.. again i say that because ive ran a trans plus and 3 in before..and had 0 problems...anyway here goes switches 1,2,3 on 4 off dials set at 0 and 0 car idles great and under normal driving ok..blms at 139 ...soon as i try to get in boost car begins to cut out...ive swapped the 3 1/2 maff out and tried my 3 in same affect even played with the dials a lil bit ..same thing..blms will drop to about 126 when this happens..when i put the stock maff back on car runs fine..i cant remember the blms but they are where they need to be ....the motor has a cam and 61mm turbo alkyand a tt chip...so...any ideas what im doin wrong...i followed the distructoins..lol....set it like it says...any input would be very helpful..until then im goin back to the stock maff...thanks joe...

was the chip burnt for the stock MAF of the 3"?

are both 3 and 3 1/2 MAF new? sounds like they may be bad.
