A Pillar Ding Paintless Dent Removal Access?

I have an original paint 1987 GN that has a ding on the lower portion of the driver side A pillar. Is there any way to access the outer metal to push the ding out? I've tried to access it with the interior A pillar trim removed through a screw hole but it seems to be at least double walled with no access to the outer portion. Is there a schematic anywhere that shows how the A pillar is made and how to get to the outer portion to push out a dent?

You aren't getting in there.

Fill it and paint it or drill it and pull it, then paint it.
 
Find a good PDR guy that can repair hail damage. Ask him to glue pull the dent. I've seen many repaired in roof rails with no access to back side.

My first instinct is that glue pulling an A pillar ding on a 30 year old car with original lacquer paint is a bad idea. I am thinking it would pull the paint off before it pulls the ding out.
 
The shape of the a pillar will not let the glue pull work well. The curve of the pillar provides too much strength for a good pull I believe.
 
What's is the worst that can happen? You pull the paint. By the sounds of it. The pillar needs painted to properly repair. If you can work the dent out some it will reduce the amount of filler required to properly repair your vehicle. Less filler is always better as it reduces the chances for shrinkage.
