does anyone know how much a complete 231 carbed engine weighs? Curious as I've pulled mine out to do a bottom end rebuild and need to buy an engine stand,and don;t want it to collapse on me!!

Since most engine stands are more than likely designed to at least hold a small V8, you should be fine. I have a couple, and I just picked up what they had, and they haven't collapsed yet.
