Would a 20-30MPH headwind have any impact on your ET or trap speed. :confused:

Is there a calculation for this?
 
Well, since drag is proportional to the square of the velocity (V²), when you're talking of running into that kind of headwind at over 100 mph, it should make a difference.

O.K. how about a less scientific guess.

Would you lose 2-3 tenths and 3-4 mph?

I was at an NHRA event that the pro stockers were over weight for some reason. Reason being the wind created down force which made the car heavier. Yes it will affect ET how much is hard to say.
