Thanks to Yedi, I went with the replacement power window motors / regulators that you can get here:

Power Window Kit: A1 Electric Online Store

They are nice and solid. Not wobbly like the OEM ones. The regulators are also sprung. I could go on forever about how good these are, but I'll let the video do the talking:

Dude that's sweet! I'm gonna keep these in mind for sure. Is that price for both? Did you get the free shipping?

The price is for both. I did get free shipping, but that's because they were on back order for a week and they offered up the free shipping to be nice. I know its a lot of money, but I will never look back. I've already tried going to the big early G body motors and all I ended up doing was having high current motors that kept frying my window switches.

I would pay the money if 1-a motor burned up and 2-if they gave the free shipping. But with there being no slop like the originals I wonder if that will affect window adjustment?

I bought the window motor from them for my 96 century and it worked for 1 day:mad: They wanted me to pay shipping back for the warranty I told them to stick it. I went back to the cardone from napa

What I mean by no slop is that the scissor linkage is not all wobbly. Adjusting my windows literally took about a minute to get it dead on. I've spent hours with the old setup trying to get the window to do what I wanted.

That sucks. I can understand a mail order company not covering you shipping the item back though. Just like the place across town won't cover your gas to go return an item. I'd think they'd cut you a break if the part failed after a day though. They gave me free shipping just because they were back ordered 1 week on the parts. They offered that up front without me saying anything. They dodn't charge me until the product was shipped either.

It says the window switches are separate...so can you use the stock window switches or do you have to use theirs?
