? about hot wire kits

I just got the Caspers kit.Do you guys have any tips/tricks that i should know?It looks straight forward,but didnt come with directions.

How about soldering all the connectors before you put it on the car.

Seriously, I have had some problems with a few of hte crimp connectors on my Caspers hotwire, had to depin it and solder the connections. Maybe mine was the last one made before the crimpers were sent out to be calibrated and they were out of adjustment.
