It has now been almost three weeks since Ive had my t-type on the road. The TCC valve got jammed and when I dismantled it I found the pump had taken a dump so I had to send that off and I've been waiting for a new one.

I rented a Kia Rio for about a week and a half and let me tell you, that is the slowest POS on the planet. I was fearing for my life on the freeway trying to merge in, or move out of a slow lane. I had to hope onramps were extra long so I could get as much of a running start as possible. After what seems like 30 seconds I might hit 75 mph. Trying to pull out onto busy roads was also treacherous. I would have to wait until it was very clear before I would dare pulling out.

So now that I havent had the buick it has become so much more awesome to me in my minds eye. I wish I could just hop in it and go cruising around right now getting on the boost. I am now motivated to fix a bunch of little things that have been bothering me.

So if you guys are feeling burned out on the car, just break something and be away from it for awhile. You will really appreciate it more... unless you have another form of transportation thats cool I suppose. Right now I'm car-less.

Hope that you are back in the driver's seat in no time, Pablo. t will just make it that much more excitement when it gets back on the road.

This doesnt sound like the smartest idea, you should have rented a mustang or some other v8,,,what if you would have died in the Kia tring to merge on the expressway........

I know how you feel. I havent' driven mine in 3 months. When I first bought my TL 4 months ago I couldn't feel it accelerate when I floored it. Now it's starting to feel fast. I need my GN back.

I am right there with you guys. Haven't had my buick running in five months due to the engine being blown and being at the machine shop. If all goes well I will have my engine back tomorrow . Best of luck to you guys in getting your cars back on the road.
