AC Compressor - AC Delco

Anyone know if there is a special seal for the hose connector to the compressor on a HA set-up?
Does not look like o-rings will be working. In middle of the install and must be missing something. :frown:

Didnt the compressor come with seals? Those orings will not work. Go to napa and tell them the apllication and they will give you the right ones . they are flat aluminum with a rubber insert. The thickness is different from port to port

The shop manual call these "O ring Gaskets". Both should be the same size. Brad

Well, the black metal washer/oring went on the suction side and the green (thicker) one on the pressure side.
Anyone know if you are supposed to use the two "long and short" aluminum spacers?
I "think" these need to be tapped into the hose manifold to provide a better seal.

Never used an Delco unit before . . . . . typically used the rebuild units from the parts stores . . . . these two are different!

Made a few executive decisions.
If you look at the first picture, is of the bushings that came with the compressor.
The second picture, you can see the seal installation.
The third picture (close-up) clearly shows the seal "barely" on the nipple.

With the bushings installed, there is clearly better seal area after "squish".
The final picture shows the manifold being level. The thicker green seal is definately needed on the pressure side due to the deeper recess.
