Use a flex joint and a 10-12" extension to get to the plug(s)
If you don't have one, buy it.
You'll be glad you did after trying for 2 hours and busted knuckles.

Yeah I have both. Getting it out isnt so bad. Getting it back in the the real pint in the ass! It took me about a half hour to get the sucker back in

Don't worry, if you keep the car long enough, you'll get better.

I gap all the buicks I work on at .032 unless there running more then 30 psi of boost

Chnged the gap now it dont run at all! Driving me nuts!

I changed the gap from .045 to .032 and not she tries to start but doesnt. This is driving me nuts! Any advise?

I just did my plugs this weekend, 0.35 gap works great. That #6 is a @%^#&* my spark plug socket holds on to the plug a little to well and what a bear it was to get it off. If ya could just get your hand in there it wouldn't be so bad, I get my 12 year old daughter to spin the plug in by hand cause she got those small kid hands, she loves the idea that she can do something I can't!

Yeah my friends and family call me sausage fingers...lol..Imaging the hard time I have! the number 4 is no picnic either. I just did them today with a regular deep socket. I cant find the socket with the rubber in it that holds the plug...That would be too easy!

You said it was running like crap before you changed the plugs, what is the last thing you did to the car ?

Las thing I did was change the plug gap. It was running like crap prior to that but it did start. Now it tries to start but nothing..
