ac hose problems & maybe a missing piece ... pics would be great

where the two air condition hoses connect to the alternater - i see that they slide on but is there supposed to a bracket, screws, a clamp or something to hold it on to the alternater because mine keeps sliding off

also, directly behind that, there is thread....is there supposed to be a canister or something that connects there because i seem to remember there being one there when i took the hoses off last year but i can't seem to find it now - - the only thing i found that could have been where the canister was is two little wires connected with electrical tape and a green three prong connecter

if anyone has pics of either of these, that would be great but any information would be helpful
