accumulator orifice

How important is this? I got a shift kit and the acc. housing orifice was missing. What will it do ?

the orifice helps firm up the 1/2 shift with a 3000 plus stall speed convertor.it does serve a purpose /function.many kits do not use it but we do include it in ours when we dont forget to put it in the bag.
