What type of thing would I have to do to put a turbo on my stock 4.1? I really want some power and this stock motor just doesnt have it as you all know.

Would it be easier and cheaper to just pull the v6 out and put in a 350 or something. The 4.1 has only about 20,000 miles on it it's a remanufactured motor.

Let me know something!!!

If you want to go with a V8, there are three motors that popular. The Small Block Chevy, Buick 350 and the Buick 455. The Buick 350 will reuse most of the V6's accessories and is a good performance motor. The 455 is BIG and also a excellent performacnce motor. The SBC is, well a Chevy. All three are cheap to buy and well supported by aftermarket. The Buick 350 may be the most cost effective choice.

Traditional V8 build ups will work for the V6 is well. Cam, compression, headers, etc. It has good potential even though it's small.

Adding a turbo is a very good route, IMO. I have thought this out and I believe the best path is NOT to go with a factory style system (of any year), unless you already have the complete motor. Conversions aren't easy. And sure, a 86/87 SFI/IC/Turbo would be nice, but it's not practical. For the cost involved, you might as well go buy a 86/87 TR.

That brings us to the (drum roll please) BLOW THRU turbo. Maybe not easiest, maybe not the cheapest, but certainly different. Try reading these:
