would adding a ground wire to bottom of ignition module be a good idea ? Or does it get all its grounding through the wires in connector ?

Been a while since I messed with it - but doesn't it bolt to a thick steel bar that is bolted to the intake?

I am all for good grounds but it seems like it is well grounded as it.

I have a big ground strap from the manifold to the firewall.

Very common to do that. People powder coat parts & wonder why the grounds are flaky etc. File the area where the bolt goes & add a ground strap. Many threads about it curing flaky modules etc. Seach it on the other board or even read this link. Its not all about that but its mentioned a few times with good explanations.
