Used this instruction to add an 1/8" jack to my cassette player: http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/threads/digital-aux-input-on-your-delco.267794/
Only thing I did different was use splice connectors that latch onto the right and left channels as opposed to cutting the cassette wires. (don't want to mess with factory wiring + want to have the ability to use cassettes.) No audio is coming through from the 1/8 jack. I believe this is because when I push the scissor arms in I hear something go "click... click.... click...." Almost like the cassette is auto reversing itself constantly. Does this interfere with audio going to the amp? Is there a way to bypass this or trick it into thinking the audio is coming from a cassette?
