I've heard of these before but don't know anything about them. It's a device that attaches to the regulator on your alternator so that you can go up or down with the voltage output. Anyone know how to get or make one?

I have the bowling green one (no longer even a vendor) and it easy wires into your alternator and allows you to raise the voltage. I believe it was $90. Its called the volt master.

I set mine to 14.5 at idle and did not use the tps wot function on it.

Caspers has one that just snaps in but I believe that one only raises the volts at wot, not at idle. www.casperselectronics.com

From what I got from my electrical buddy, these convert the amps into the higher volts. So you get more volts, but then lower the amps in the same process.

Correct me if I have that info wrong please, I'm not much of an electrical engineer here.

Hope that helps.
