Adjustable wastegate

This may be or may not be a dumb question... I'm not sure, here it goes...

Do you need an adjustable wastegate for a boost controller?

You don't "need" one, but you won't be able to fine tune your boost.

If you don't have one, a trip to lowes or Home depot will get you all the parts and tools you need to make one for about $10:

Hack saw, 1/4-20 die and 1" long 1/4-20 coupler.
