Adjusting Boost Question

I understand to adjust the boost is by the actuator. I've read from others posting on this board that they have boost adjusted/set at XX. My question is,how do I measure how much boost is currently setup? Do you use the vacuum/boost to adjust the boost? Is this done at idle?

That is one thing you have to do at WOT using your boost gauge as a reference. I assume you have an adjustable so all you do is shorten the rod by turning the adjuster end in. Have fun and be safe!
