I just put a new power window motor in the passenger side. Holy cow it is difficult to get the window adjusted just right and not have screaming wind noise going down the highway! I still need to do the drivers side but have postponed it for now since the pass. side was such a pain in the butt.
Is there any guides that you guys have come across that give tips on how to get the thing as perfect as possible? It seemed to fight me every step of the way and I have to imagine there is an orderly way to go about it. Also, the car has new weatherstripping as of last summer so I'm guessing that is working against me as well. Thanks!

Yes they are a pain! I just spent over 2 hours doing both mine due to new door and window weatherstrip. To make things worse, I have a ttop car. Kirban has a book by Pete Serio all about these dam windows.

There are 3 basic ways to adjust them: tilt in/out, tilt front/back & adjust window front to back. Each of these 3 is done by loosening a seperate pair of bolts in the door. After playing around a while you can really get the hang of it

I found out the front and back up stop adjustments are very important too...
