Advice Pulling Engine

Have had a major engine failure on the GN I've been restoring with my son for the past two years, need to pull it and put it on an engine stand. Haven't pulled an engine in a while, and can't find anything in the tech manual. Where's the best connect connection points, and which bolts do you use? What should be removed before pulling the engine? Many thanks.

I usually go corner to corner with header bolts. If the lift hook goes right down to the point of almost touching the plenum, you can pull it without taking the hood off.

make sure to take the crossover pipe off and the grounds on the back off the passenger side head

Double check you have all the grounds undone, there are a bunch on the fire wall.

Plenum strap works best. HR parts n stuff has them.
