After rebuild car won't roll back from neutral

Installed transmission after I rebuilt it. Checking all the gears and notice the car won't easily roll back while its in neutral. It will roll foward very easy but in trying to roll it back it takes pretty good muscule to get it to budge. Feels like something in the tranny is binding. What would I look for? Don't want to drive the car till it easily rolls backwards. Don't want to mess it up even more.

Check band clearance by prying in on the servo cover & see how much travel you have.

I might suspect a sheared froward drum sealing ring. Especially if you used scarf cut rings. Best of luck.

Thanks Jim and Lee It turns out to be the servo is way to tight. I have ck billet servo and needs alot trimmed down. So I'm going to install the stock servo and wait for the adjustable pin from PTS:tongue:
