Hi Guys. I have been out of Buicks for almost 3 years. Recently I have been thinking about buying another as I had more fun with my WE4, then any other car I have owned. How well is the aftermarket still supporting these 20 year old, limited production cars? Many businesses have come and gone; Ramchargers for one, and can you still buy Terry Houston down pipes? I see Lonnie Diers is still in action building tranmissions. Just want a few opinions from some veterans who have been around for awhile. Thanks
Steve

Welcome back. There is still a great aftermarket for these cars. www.fullthrottlespeed.com has quite a bit. I bought the terry houston downpipe from there. On the turbobuick.com home page there is a whole list of vendors or just look in the vendor section.

New blocks, cranks, rods, turbos, ICs etc. everyday. I have heard rumors of an eight second 109 block GN. Still evolving and being supported.

i think its as good now if not better than it was 5 years ago. i remember back when it was said, when theres no more cranks these cars will be dead. now we have 500 dollar forged cranks! alky kits have come a long way as have chips.

There are still alot of great vendors selling great stuff.....for instance RJC Racing has been making some great stuff, as well as Cottons, G body parts are only some of the great vendors we have to help us keep these cars alive.
