Alarm drains battery

I have used autopage alarms for the last 8 years or so. The last two installed seem to have developed a short and began to drain my battery. First on my GN and now on my QX56.

Has anyone else experienced this? What is the cause?

does your starter kill relay have a diode in it? that's usually the cause of battery drains from alarm systems.

Yeah, noticed that the one on the GN was broken. The one on the other vehicle is still in tact.
