Alarm system shot?

I have a co-worker who asked me for help in diagnosing his alarm system. He has a 97 Jeep wrangler with a stock alarm system and a prestige alarm system installed on top of that.

It worked fine until a couple of days ago. Now he gets no confirmation beebs from the horn (lights flash though) when he locks and unlocks his doors. Alrm does not automatically set. Alarm led light is constantly solid red at all times.

I looked by the drivers kick panel area and found a loose blue wire with a spade crimp on connector. i retached it to another wire that had a wire tap connector on it. Alarm still acts the same way.

I told him his alarm computer is probably bad.

its in valet !!!!!!!!!

make sure ignition is in the on position, locate the toggle switch and flip it the opposite way it is.
all should be fine

key must be on !!!!!!!!!!!

find toggle switch on driver side under dash area

Kewl!!! It may be as simple as that! There is a toggle switch by the foot area. He must have accidently flipped it with his foot while the was key in the ignition. I did not know how to operate this switch.
