What are the main reasons to use alcohol inj. (non intercooled car) Which kit is the best for the money?

thanks Tim

Charge air cooling, octane boosting. Razor's progressive kit is by far the best.

The SMC kit is also a nice kit to have. Everyone has their own opinion.

I've used the SMC kit and it failed due to corrosion of the connections inside the reservoir just like a lot of peoples kits. I've heard he has corrected this and he also offers a progressive kit now. I do know for sure that Razor's progressive kit is far above the old SMC kit due to components used, pressure, and reliability. It's operation is completely seamless.

I looked on Razor's site and I didn't see a kit for the 84/85, does the 86/87 kit work for the old cars or should I call him and have one custom made? anybody have a used one laying around?
Tim

The 84/85 kit is basically the same except it comes with a solenoid and a solenoid driver. You also have to measure how much braded line you want, because of the solenoid. Just send him an email or call him, if I remember right its about $50 to $100 more than the 86/87 kit.
