doing the pre-install mock up and wondering if to put plumber's tape on all the fittings ?

I am not a fan of teflon tape. I work in the gas fireplace industry and have seen stray tape do bad things. I use teflon paste on the pipe threads, but nothing on the flare fittings.

nevermind got it reread inst. sealant on thread connections none on flares
