Hi all,
I'm interested in learning about the SMC alky setup and want to learn the basics and tuning tips-- is there an FAQ anywhere OR does anyone recall a particularly good thread.

I've done some searching, but thought there's probably an easier way to find the good stuff without posting a ton of new (repeat) threads .

Search for anything written by black6pack. He is a MAJOR alcholic and he got me hooked to.

It is definately worth it. You can build more boost and not have to worry about the extra knock associated with it. You really need an adjustable wastegate to realize its potential.

Installation is a snap.

The one thing to remember is that you really should tune your car to eliminate as much knock as possible. Don't use the kit as a crutch (like I do).

I sent steve an email asking him for a bigger reservoir. The bottle I have now seems to be to small. I relocated my battery to my trunk, so I have the space for a larger one. Those of you that have the space should think about a bigger resovoir. It is not necessary, just more convient. It is not like you need to fill it up twice a week or anything.

A one to one gallon can of alcohol to reservoir ratio would be great. I hate going back and fort filling it up all the time...
