Alky kit not working please help.

Well I need help, I just installed my new trunk mount SMC dual nozzle kit and it doesn't work, I have power to the box but my pump is not working, It lights up when I hit the purge button but my pump still does not work, The wires out of the box are just like the instructions say BLK, RED, GRN, WHT, I also have checked the fuse in the box its ok.

You need a tester back at the pump to see if there is juice. Did you have to lengthen the wires by splicing? Maybe a bad contact

Check your ground back by the trunk. If you are grounding it under the hood that is unnecessary extra wire and potential for trouble

yes I did have to add wire to the harness, I have checked those, and did try to check the wire at the pump but its the RCA type connectors and I am not sure I did it right my light did not light up.
Any ideas

First you need to run power to the pump to make sure it works. Dont change grounds so at least you will know your ground is good

Ok I ran power to the pump by taking the red, and black wires off the control box and hooked up a Batt charger to them, and it sounds like the pump is making some noise but it is not pumping, disconected the supply line from the bottle, and the red wire at the box is getting warm when doing this.

OK here is how I would start.
Ground the pump in the trunk
Run a wire, completely unspliced to a battery, not a charger. A charger may have too many or too few amps for the pump. The pump should run and pump.
If it does hook the control box up and test the hot wire coming out of it. With the button on (make sure pump speed is not set at zero) you should have power coming out of the control box. If you do its all in your wiring. If the pump will not pump you will have to get ahold of Steve
