I'll be putting on Razor's kit this weekend and I was looking at it today and I had a few questions.

Has anyone ever installed the nozzle in the upper plenum (dog house)? Would it even work there?

Are there any close up's on how to mount the mini tank? I see that it goes behind the battery, but how does it get mounted?

Thanks guys!

Can't wait to get this put in!

I'm not sure about the nozzle in the plenum. Its tried and true on the up pipe. Coolant tank doesn't really mount, its just crammed back there. Atleast mine is. I think some people have made brackets for theirs.

Dont put it in the doghouse. reason 1 is engine vacuum will suck the tank dry. Reason 2 time/distance.. you need some distance for the methanol to change phase. Actually the further back, the better.

Dont sweat the mini overflow. Once you push it into that spot, you'll see how its held there.

Got the pump, tank, mini overflow, nozzle and hoses installed this afternoon and I will be wiring it tomorrow. One more question, where should I ground the pump (White wire)? The ring terminal is too small to go over the bumper bracket bolt. Can I solder a longer lead and ground it at the screw by the battery? (Where the low level sensor is grounded)

You could ground it to one of the black pump bracket bolts.

Or you can cut a slice into the o-ring and spread it a little to fit over the bumper bracket bolt.

Or you can install a larger o-ring

You can attach it to the bumper using a self tapping screw.

That ground on the o-ring doesnt carry practically any current. Whether its grounded or not will not have any issue with the pumps ability to move liquid. It is used for the pressure sensing circuit that changes the LED from red to green.

Yup...I have a bigger ring terminal. I'll use that. Thanks Julio!
